Just Edit Terms and Conditions

1.1. All projects undertaken by Just Edit will be governed by a separate Service Agreement or proposal, detailing the specific scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and pricing.

1.2. Any changes or additions to the agreed-upon scope of work must be documented and agreed upon in writing by both parties, which may result in additional charges and/or extended timelines.

2.1. Payment schedules and amounts will be outlined in the individual project proposal or service agreement.

2.2. A deposit (typically 50%) is required upfront for most projects before work commences, and final payment is due upon completion and before final delivery or launch.

2.3. All invoices must be paid within 10 days of the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest charges as per the Service Agreement.

2.4. All prices are quoted and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.

3.1. The client agrees to provide all necessary content (text, images, videos) and information required for the project in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may impact project timelines.

3.2. The client is responsible for reviewing and approving all deliverables promptly. Feedback or approvals must be provided within the agreed-upon timeframe to avoid project delays.

3.3. The client warrants that all materials provided to Just Edit are owned by the client or that the client has the necessary rights to use them, and that such materials do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

4.1. Upon full and final payment, the client will own the intellectual property rights to the final deliverables specifically created for them by Just Edit for the project.

4.2. Just Edit retains the right to use the completed project in its portfolio and for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4.3. Any third-party software, plugins, or themes used in the project remain subject to their respective licenses.

5.1. Just Edit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services.

5.2. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

6.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, and any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

7.1. Just Edit reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
